But speaking of my toys, here's my newest one. I get obcessive when I wear it. I wore it all day last week. I thought the chest strap would be obnoxious, but really, the boys that complain about it are just whiners. They should try wearing a sports bra! Everyone should get one of these though, really, fascinating!
I'm still angry about my car though....

Oh, I've always been intrigued by heart rate monitors but never been willing to invest the time into researching the different options or the money to buy one! Is it a toy you recommend? Cant decide if it would entice me to run more or just distract me when I do :)
Good news! There really isn't that much to research. They are pretty much all the same, it just depends on how much information you want it to tell you. The mechanics and setup are all similar. I found polarusa.com to have everything anyone could ever need. So poke around there and you will for sure find what you are looking for. I personally have the F6.
As for distraction, the first few times, its all I could look at, but that wears off and then its just really nice to know the effort I have put out. Plus, then I cant deny when I lazed out a little bit during the run....
