Throwback Thursday: Back to Boston!

I can't post much tonight, I am already 52 minutes behidn schedule. I wanted to be packed by 10:30, in bed by 11. I am almost done packing at 11:23, but Im not ready for bed. The alarm is going off tomorrow at 4am. Ew.

But it will be worth it! Cause I am going to see the girls below! At least two of them! This picture was taken on Saint Patrick's Day 2005. More than 5 years ago...holy cow does that seem ridiculous. I remember that night perfectly...well, the first part, it WAS St. Patricks Day....in Boston. But it will only be the second time since I left Boston that I get to see Caroline. I have been lucky enough to see Meg another time in Los Angeles, but still. I miss those crazy kids.

Mom and I are headed to Beantown for a long weekend. Thursday arrival, departing at 7am Monday. Short trip, but its going to be amazing. Cantina with Caroline, Engagement shenanigans with Meg and Kate, traipsing with madre....can't wait!

But yes, I did rock the FLAMING pink hair back in the day....

Running Ragged!

Good Lord people! I feel like August is trying to kill me! The past two weekends have been crazy, Des Moines, Farmer's Markets, up to Minneapolis for shopping and Something Corporate, Des Moines, Tims work training, friend's birthdays, new yoga, more shopping, more friend time!

And now, the next two weekends will be even crazier. Next weekend (aka 5 days) is Boston for an engagement party and hanging with old friends and the madre. Then two days later Tim and I spend five days in San Francisco playing tourist and seeing more old friends. Then a few days later, back up north to see Ms. Lady Gaga. Insanity. Me and my Civic are the bestest of friends as of now. My back and I, do not share the same loving relationship. Here's the craziness so far!

Strawberry Rhubarb Coffeecake at the Farmer's Market.

Des Moines might actually be good for something! HUGE Farmer's Markets.

Lots of sunsets in the car.

I only have a few moments at home these days. Olivia misses me lots!

Tim saw these and asked if we were moving back to Boston. Skinny jeans still baffle me.

Not the dress I ended up getting, but I still totally dug it.

Something Corporate. I took video of the entire 9minutes of Konstantine. Love.

Emcal loves her some birthday $1 margarita.

Throwback Thursday: Castaway

Castaway circa 2000. A full decade ago. Wow....that was a good summer. I wasn't always a super big Young Life fan, but they sure know how to do week long summer camp right. Its like Club Med for high schoolers. Although, I wasn't even in high school yet, I was a rule breaker! :)

The Skills Song - Rocky and Balls - (Inspired by Napoleon Dynamite)

These girl are hilarious and awesome. Their website has a few others that totally crack me up.
