Hippity Hop?

This week's blog hop gives me too many options!! So here's four of varying degrees of answerability, answer what you want to, but I'll love you more if you answer them all!

1) What should I make as a vegetable side dish for Thanksgiving? (I like new and exciting things, so no need to be simple or traditional!)

2) Whats the best thing that happened to you this past weekend?

3) What's your favorite story involving your beloved furry pets?! Extra points for hilarity.

4) What would you like to see posts about here on the blog? (Photos, stories, thoughts, throwbacks, new stuff...)

No really. I expect you all to answer. Nessa has Fringe/ Hero/ X-Men/ Lady Gaga -esque telepathic powers. She can make your brain shrivel to the size of a grape if you don't answer! Ouchees! See? I have proof!

1) I LOVE Green Bean Casserole Dish; ask me if you want the recipe. It's more than just a plain ole veggie on the table =)

2) After LOTS of Twitter searches I found a Web Engineer who lives IN my area! =)

3) NO, absolutely NOT in my home. I've got enough of my own hair that falls out! =)

4) Just arrived today... can't answer 'yet'... happy hopping. =)

Good morning~

I found you through the blog hop this morning and I am enjoying my visit with you! I figured I'd better answer all your questions so Nessa can't shrivel what little brain I have left!

Here goes:

1) What should I make as a vegetable side dish for Thanksgiving? (I like new and exciting things, so no need to be simple or traditional!)
I found this recipe for Scallopped Vadalia Onions and it is DELICIOUS! My family went NUTS over it. We are definitely having this again with our Thanksgiving dinner. Here's the link to the recipe on my blog: http://goosehillfarm.blogspot.com/2009/10/scallopped-vadalia-onions.html

2) Whats the best thing that happened to you this past weekend?
The best thing that has happened this past week was that my husband started his new job! WOO HOO! :> ) Thank you, Jesus!

3) What's your favorite story involving your beloved furry pets?! Extra points for hilarity.
I think the funniest thing is our cat Kitty. (yes, I know....very original) She is the most loving little thing you have ever seen. That is until my brother-in-law comes over. Then she turns into a screaming meme and tears off and hides until he is gone. For some reason, she can not stand Frank. Mention his name and like lightning, she's outta here! lol

4) What would you like to see posts about here on the blog? (Photos, stories, thoughts, throwbacks, new stuff...)
I am very easy going and I love to read about ANYTHING, so whatever you would post would be fine with me! :> )

Blessings~

I sit and stare at it all the time...

Hi Clare I love to answer great questions hehe!

1. Bean casserole it maybe a traditional dish but I do like it but why not make a twist out of the ordinary. Now you are thinking huh? ^_^

2. Nothing grand happened really but having a good healthy life is already grandeur to me so I guess that is the best thing that happened to me and to my husband.

3. Remind of my pet a chicken, I named her Estella and she is just a cutie. Every time she sees me standing at the porch she rans toward me!! So I picked her up and we walked around the backyard while I am talking to her. She is the only chicken that we got who likes to come in at the house hehehehe. And if I am working at our yard she is behind me or beside me. My husband Aunt who is 86 years old was so amazed when she saw how the chicken like me. But a tragic thing happened in my backyard, in the chicken coop, our neighbors dog killed almost all our chickens and that includes Estella and my favorite father rooster (2nd fav). When I discovered what happened I cried and cried it does really saddened me. Now I missed my pet Estella and father rooster I just watched our video together. sniff...sniff..

4. Anything and everything is always welcome!

Thanks for visiting my site too I do appreciate it.

hmmm... Answer to question numero uno is tricky for me, as I'm a carnivore, not an herbivore so much. I particularly like green bean casserole, and candied sweet potatoes.

what was the good thing that happened over the weekend? My in laws didn't have any new drama! OOooohhh great new pizza place opened up, FINALLY someone in this country knows how to make a decent pizza!

Pet stories, back when I was in middle school, I had a calico cat who had a litter of kittens in my bed.....while I was sleeping in it. EWWWW.... But totally cool to wake up seeing new little baby kitties!

Anything is cool!! Spew forth whatever is going on in your head! Photos are always cool too!
