Flashback Father's Day.

My father, who has and always will, march to the beat of a totally different drum.
And we all love him that much more for it :)

Numerous Epic Noms, and One Epic Fail.

The past couple weeks I have been quite creative in the kitchen. All the old stuff just sounded boring and I wanted to try new things. Some of the best have been:

Apple Crumble
Honey Curry Chicken with Red Pepper
Peanut Butter Banana Pancakes
Turkey Meatloaf with Mixed Veg
Peanut Butter Whoopie Pies

However, out of numerous crazy successful attempts, there was one failure. I used the big poofy marshmallows (the ones the size of your fist) to try to make rice crispie treats (which I have shockingly never made before) and it failed MISERABLY. Epic fail.

Return of Throwback Thursday: A Late Mothers Day.

We celebrated Mother's Day quite late this year. Most of us being out of the continent....but we are back for Throwback Thursday.

Mind Mush.

I spent the past two days working on a shoot for TLC's, The Little Couple. Bill was in town for a medical convention. I have zero mental capacity left.

That being said, I currently enamored with Gordon Ramsay.
Note: The F-Word is waaaay better than both Hells Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares, combined. Totally different. Love it.

Four Desires. And NPH.

Recently I have seen a lot of people making life goals, five/ten year plans, or bucket lists. Most of the time I find them kind of silly, mainly because I can't think of anything whenever I try to think of my own goal lists and whatnot. To me, if I want to do it, you go for it, you don't just wait around. Case in point, my ludicrous move to New Zealand.

However. Tonight. I can think of a few. Some just as insane as moving, some impossible due to location, and others, think Christmas Gift (that means you mom!).

Clare's Desire List.

1) Learn to speak Russian.

2) Meet and be photographed with......Neil Patrick Harris.

3) Learn and practice Krav Maga.

4) Do and learn more about international cooking and baking.

It's a start....right?
