The Cold Affects my Brain

So far today I have watched 6 episodes of The Listener. A show that has been on my tivo since June. A show that was cancelled over three months ago. I like it though. Its a good show to marathon on a Sunday. -18 this morning.

I also wrote this poem (in jest) for my friend to give to her mother on her 60th birthday this week....

Roses are red,
Something I cant afford,
Thanks for being my mommy,
And providing an umbilical cord!!!!

Random story of the day. Tim and I went to Younkers today to return some belts he got for Christmas (he got the same belt from two people) and as we are parking, across the aisle, my grandparents get out of their truck and go into the store. Now, normally I would hightail it and say hello. Only, we were returning the gift that they had given. Its far more ironic than it sounds....
